How to Survive Doomsday Part 10

Education:

My final point is probably the most important. You need to educate yourself on all the skills that you don't have. Take action on this point now. If you don’t you may find that you don’t have any time left and you will regret the time you have wasted. Take yourself to a quiet place with a pad, a pen and a drink of something that you like and make yourself a list of everything that you need to learn to survive post doomsday. This may include something as simple as learning to cook.

There are numerous courses that you should take; a basic survival course for one, a firearms course for another, but probably the most essential is a first aid course. You need to know how to treat injuries when and if they occur.

Knowledge will be the most valuable commodity post doomsday. The person who has the most relevant knowledge and then applies it, is the person that will survive. Take the time now, to ensure that person is you.

How to Survive Doomsday Part 9

Weapons:

This is a sensitive subject for many, however you need to embrace weapons if you hope to survive long term post doomsday. You will need weapons for hunting. The food you have stored will eventually run out and you will have to hunt for meat and fish. You might want to learn about snares, traps and driving deer into pits. All skills are useful. However, it is far easier to hunt with weapons.

Fishing is the easiest method of “hunting.” Since your location will be close to water, there will either be fish in the stream close by or you can follow the water downstream to where there is a supply. Since you aren’t doing this for recreation or sport, use a net. Stretch your net across the stream and drag downstream, that way you are more likely to maximize your catch.

When it is time to hunt for meat you will need a gun, a crossbow or a bow and arrow. A crossbow can be a useful, powerful weapon but in many countries they are actually banned so getting some pre-doomsday practice in is going to be tricky. A bow and arrow is probably going to be a waste of your time, the time it will take to master the technique isn’t worth it. To be honest the only weapon worth your time and effort is a gun. A hunting rifle of some type is best. The best course of action is to get some education down at a local gun club. Take the time to learn how to shoot with some degree of professionalism before you need the skills. Go on hunting trips with experienced hunters and learn the skills now. One gun isn’t going to be sufficient, you need a range of guns. In addition to hunting rifles you might want to have a shotgun or even pistols.

Love's Return

Welcome to the title of the book I'm writing. I am currently working on chapter 3 and all seems to be going well. I will give a small lowdown of what the book is about. The two main characters are reincarnated into present day after dying a horrific death at Pearl Harbor, but they don't know that they are the same people. That's all you get, the rest you will have to find out when I'm done and hopefully published. Thanks to all my family and friends that are being so supportive in my endeavor to finally followed my number 1 biggest dream. I have nothing but love for all of you.

P.S. Don't worry, I will get back to giving out survival and prepping information, gardening and various other info soon. Maybe in the next couple of days!!!

Pennington Smart Feed Sprayer System

I was sent the Pennington Smart Feed Sprayer System from BzzAgent. I love it. It is the perfect way to fertilize your garden and flowers. After putting topsoil in my raised bed gardens and mixing compost with it, I planted my seeds in my garden. I waited a few days and then used the sprayer system. I couldn't believe that within just a couple of days all my plants were starting to grow. I also bought some rose bushes and did the same thing with them. Within a week all the roses are starting to bloom and look amazing. The sprayer itself cost around $13.00. Not a bad price all in all. There are also three different types of fertilizer that you can buy with it. All-Purpose, Tomato and Vegetable, and Flowers and Bloom. These cost around $10.00 for 4 tablets, but the tablets cover 300 sq ft each. I would recommend this system to anyone.
